We have some news we’ve been looking forward to sharing: FortyAU has been named a Select Services Partner in Anthropic’s Claude Partner Network.
It’s a big milestone for our team, and we want to explain what it actually means, both for the organizations we work with and for us.
What the Claude Partner Network is
Anthropic created the Claude Partner Network to work with the companies that help businesses put Claude into production. Its Services Track helps enterprises find service and implementation partners that have proven they can deliver. Select status isn’t something you can sign up for. It reflects certified engineers, a robust delivery practice, and active Claude solutions running for clients.
Why it matters for regulated industries
Most of our clients work in healthcare, finance, or other highly regulated services. For them, getting a model to give an impressive answer in a demo is the easy part. The hard part is everything around it: protecting sensitive data, meeting compliance requirements, connecting AI to systems that have run for decades, and making sure it behaves reliably when mistakes carry consequences.
That’s where we’ve focused our Claude practice. We build agentic workflows, AI-enabled applications, and modernization programs designed to hold up under the scrutiny regulated organizations face every day.
“Our clients don’t need another AI demo. They need someone who can take Claude into environments where security, compliance, and reliability aren’t optional, and make it work.”
— Logan Buchanan, President, FortyAU
What it looks like in practice
The best way to show what Claude does for our clients is to point to the work. Two recent engagements show both sides: Claude in our engineers’ hands, and Claude in our clients’ hands.
Synesthesia CRNA: clinicians shipping their own code
Synesthesia CRNA builds software for nurse anesthesia education, including the case logs and preceptor evaluations programs need for accreditation. Its two co-founders are clinicians, not engineers. We designed and built their HIPAA- and FERPA-compliant platform from scratch, launching an MVP in early 2024.
Once the platform was live, every new feature still meant a request, a wait, and a demo, often 5 to 7 days before the founders saw a working version. In 2025, we changed that. With our guidance, the founders began using Claude to write changes, preview them locally, and submit merge requests directly to the codebase. Our engineers review every change for architecture and compliance before it ships.
The results so far:
- Preceptor evaluation return rates rose from about 30% to about 80%.
- Critical fixes now turn around the same day or the next business day.
- 5 to 7 days came out of every feature request cycle.
- The founders shipped a second product, an operating room scheduling platform, without adding engineering headcount.
- Expansion into nurse practitioner education is now targeted for 2027, a milestone the founders once assumed was a decade away.
“We would be well into seven figures and not be anywhere close to where we are now without FortyAU’s guidance and without Claude and these new tools.”
— Matthew Harmon, Co-Founder, Synesthesia CRNA
A medical device manufacturer: a legacy API rebuilt in 70 days
One of our clients runs a case workflow platform for designing and producing custom surgical jaw implants. When our engineer joined the team, he found the backend was built on an unmaintained Node.js framework, carried 829 API routes with only about half in use, and had dozens of open security findings. He used Claude from day one to map the application, build the case for a rewrite, and port the API to .NET.
- The rewrite took 168 developer hours and 70 days from kickoff to production.
- Open security findings dropped from dozens to three.
- We tested every endpoint side by side against the legacy API before cutover, and the launch went smoothly.
- Our engineer estimates the same work would have taken roughly three times the effort without Claude.
The team is now using Claude on the next round of work: passkey login, location-based session security, auditing of access to patient health information, and a redesigned case workflow.
The team behind it
This recognition belongs to our engineers. Over 75 of them have earned Anthropic’s Claude certifications, learning the platform and building with it alongside their client work. Our AI bench also grew earlier this year when Ronin Consulting joined FortyAU, bringing more AI and data engineering talent and the capacity to take on larger programs.
“We’ve spent the past year building with Claude every day, on our own internal work and on client engagements. Our teams know how to move from a promising use case to a production system that holds up under the scrutiny of a hospital system or a bank.”
— Duane Arnett, CTO, FortyAU
What’s next
If you’re exploring how Claude could work in your organization, or you have an AI pilot that hasn’t made it to production yet, we’d love to talk. You can find us in the Claude Partner Network directory or reach out to us directly.
